About our service

Your birth certificate will be ordered from the SA Department of Home Affairs. We are an independent document service and are not affiliated with Home Affairs. Our services are more expensive than those provided by Home Affairs, however we do provide the following additional benefits:

• Get your unabridged birth certificate in 8 weeks

  It can take up to 24 weeks to obtain your certificate at Home Affairs. We will expedite your order and obtain your certificate in in the 8 week window. We collect your order the day that it is ready. Please note* if Home Affairs cannot find your records you will have to fill out both a BI-288 & BI-24 forms. This will then extend the processing time.

• We do all of the work on your behalf

  Orders and collections at Home Affairs have to be done in person. Our staff will queue on your behalf at Home Affairs. You don’t even have to come in to our offices

• Stress and hassle free

  We check your forms before submission and handle any complications with your order on your behalf. We handle all communication with Home Affairs on your behalf, saving you unnecessary trips to Home Affairs and wasted time in completing your order.

  Cancellation Fees: PLEASE NOTE* if you choose to cancel your application with us within 5 days, there is a cancellation fee of R375. That includes the fees handed over to Home Affairs for your application as well as the administrative costs incurred whilst doing the application on your behalf.
  

  Kindly note that after 5 days we will not provide a refund as your application is in the system.
